Recap of the last meeting on March 27th, 2024  
especially for those who missed the meeting!

[Clarification of the roles of Ops-WG and Secretary Office]

1. Current organizational structure  
・Below is the slide deck I used today

2. Organizational Structure and Decision-making Processes  
・Secretary Office (the admin team that consists of Shin’ichiro, Takaya, Lulu, and Masato as of now) recommended as central to decision-making, supported by Ops-WG, which works as a suggestion box and assists the execution of decisions and operations of the Secretary Office.  
・Secretary Office confirmed as crucial for organizational stability, emphasizing team flexibility with a lot of volunteers and those with a limited period of involvement.  
・Amanda as a member of the Secretary Office, aiming to refine Secretary Office operations without minimal structural changes until the next Block meeting at the earliest.  
・Agreed on the need for a detailed plan to ensure operational continuity.

3. BN/BGIN relationship  
・expressed concern about the confusion caused by complexities and deficiencies in the coordination between BN and BGIN, emphasizing the need to resolve the issues immediately and clarify roles - currently being addressed ASAP.  
・The root cause of the lack of coordination between BN and BGIN is the lack of good communication. It is not always necessary for people on the BN side to understand BGIN’s operations.

4. Next Block Meeting  
・The Secretary Office, not local chairs, will be in charge of 90% of the work.  
・If collocated with Point Zero Forum, it should be held after the Forum. Need to look for other potential venues - Shin’ichiro will contact the University of Zurich.  
・The Secretary Office will get connected with the organizers of the Point Zero Forum
