The attached document is a draft proposal for discussion purposes.
DISCUSSION BRIEF
- Challenge. There is a clear trend that city population grows at the expense of rural areas. This leads to deprivation and loss of economic viability for some regions.
For example, Akiya is an abandoned house in Japan. 15% of current housing is abandoned now (* million homes) with this ratio projected to grow to 33% by 2030. - Current solutions. Various models have been tried. Some municipalities introduced special programs to attract economically active residents. E.g. 1 euro homes in Italy.
- Network states and DAOs. Blockchain community came with an idea to create various forms of decentralized organizations based on common interests.
Is it possible to use Blockchain technologies to use real life regional model issues?
