・To-do until the call#8 on June 11th
1. Ask for comments on the updated mission statement and finalize it
2. Ask for comments on the Sustaining Sponsorship program
3. Add other venues for small meetup events
4. Create a guideline for using Telegram and Discourse
Below is the mission statement updated in today’s call.
Please feel free to add any comments on this discourse channel.
BGIN is a non-profit organization that aims to create neutral forums for in-depth discussions among all stakeholders, documenting a common language to establish shared understanding. It also strives to explore innovation, best practices, and standards for blockchain governance in operational, regulatory, and technical spheres.
Please feel free to add comments on the slide deck we created for launching the Sustaining Sponsorship Program. We are thinking about launching it this year. (We need approval from the Steering Committee)
We will have small meetup events as well as Block conferences. Add in the spreadsheet below other events you will attend and can volunteer to host a small meetup!
I will create a guideline for using Telegram and Discourse by the next call since concerns were expressed regarding the transparency of conversation and participant engagement.

Just in case, we want to be open to other comments again before finalizing it and posting it to all marketing meterials including the website.

Thanks Mitchell for making comments.
“I like that it clarifies the organisation far more. I dont think you should include the numbers for sponsorship, just the tiers, if someone wants to sponsor we can work the numbers and if we get a big organisation approaching we may want to increase the price for example.”
